Lifetime XL Underlayment Plywood
The Ultimate Foundation for Flawless Floors
Stop worrying about "telegraphing" seams or subfloor imperfections ruining your new floors. Lifetime XL is a premium-grade, exterior-glue underlayment designed specifically to meet the rigorous demands of modern resilient flooring.
With its signature uniform density and ultra-smooth face, it eliminates the bumps, voids, and knots that lead to floor failure.
Why Choose Lifetime XL?
Indentation Resistant: Engineered to withstand heavy furniture and high foot traffic without compression.
Solid Core Technology: Virtually no internal core voids, meaning you won’t deal with "soft spots" or accidental breakthroughs during installation.
Easy to Mark & Cut: Features a pre-printed fastening grid for lightning-fast, accurate stapling and nailing.
Environmentally Friendly: Sourced from sustainable plantations and bonded with low-emission adhesives.
Moisture Stable: Formulated with high-quality exterior glue to resist delamination in high-humidity areas like kitchens and bathrooms.

Installation Tips for Pro Results
Acclimate: Allow the panels to sit in the room for 24–48 hours before installation.
The "X" Marks the Spot: Use the pre-printed grid to ensure fasteners are spaced correctly (typically 2" on edges and 4" in the field).
Light Sanding: While Lifetime XL is incredibly smooth, a quick pass over the seams after installation ensures a mirror-finish for thin vinyl.
Pro Note: Avoid using construction adhesive between the underlayment and the subfloor; mechanical fasteners (staples or ring-shank nails) are the industry standard for this product.
